Once a cold air intake replaces the factory airbox on your 6.7L Powerstroke, you buy filters from the intake maker. Each brand's intake takes its own element. The S&B 75-5140 uses the KF-1050, offered as a cotton cleanable or dry extendable element. Banks lists its 41831 and 41831-D replacement elements for its Ram-Air intake. Wraps go over the element as a first layer against dust and larger debris.
When to replace
Ford's schedule for these trucks replaces the engine air filter at 10,000-15,000 miles under severe duty, and under normal duty has you inspect it at 15,000 miles and replace it by 30,000. That schedule is written around the factory element. With an aftermarket element, use those numbers as your check points and follow the intake maker's service guidance: a cotton element is cleaned and re-oiled, and a dry element is replaced.

Fitment notes
Match the wrap to the element. The WF-1031 carries the same year list as the KF-1050, while the WF-1062 is listed for 2011-2026. The NLRF is listed across 6.0L, 6.4L and 6.7L Power Stroke trucks, so check that it matches the No Limit intake on your truck. If you are not sure which intake you have, call the shop and we will sort it out.
