Display mounts for the 2018-2021 F-150 3.0L

A monitor only helps if you can read it with a quick glance. The A-pillar puts a display up near your line of sight instead of down on the dash or in a cupholder. On the diesel F-150, the factory cluster shows DEF level and regen status but no boost or EGT, so owners who add an Edge monitor to watch those numbers want it somewhere they can check while towing.

Why the model year matters

The 3.0L Power Stroke spans two F-150 generations. The 2018-2020 trucks are the 13th generation, the aluminum-body F-150 that got a mid-cycle refresh for 2018, the same year the diesel arrived. The 2021 truck is the first year of the 14th generation, with a new body, cab and interior. Ford carried the diesel over unchanged, but the cab changed, and an A-pillar mount is a cab part. The 2021's A-pillar and grab handle are different from the 13th-gen truck's, so a mount made for one generation isn't the right part for the other.

Fitment notes

• F-150 only. The 3.0L Power Stroke was never offered in an F-250 or F-350.
• 2018, 2019 and 2020 diesels: the Edge 18602 is listed for these years.
• 2021 diesels: different A-pillar and grab handle, so you need a mount built for the 14th-generation cab.

Will the Edge 18602 mount fit a 2021 F-150 diesel?

No. It's listed for 2018-2020 3.0L trucks. The 2021 F-150 is the 14th generation, with a different A-pillar and grab handle, so a 2021 needs a mount made for that cab.

How do I know if my diesel F-150 is 13th or 14th generation?

Go by model year. 2018-2020 diesels are 13th generation; 2021 is the first year of the 14th, with a new body, cab, interior and SYNC 4. The 3.0L engine itself carried over unchanged.

Will the mount hold a non-Edge gauge?

Don't assume it will. The 18602 is an Edge display mount, so check the product page for the displays it accepts before you buy. If you're mixing brands, call the shop and we'll check fit with you.

Can you install the mount?
