Call or Text (352) 722-5295In-line modules on the 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
The 2015-2016 trucks are rated 440 hp at 2,800 rpm and 860 lb-ft at 1,600 rpm from the factory. An in-line module adds power through the OBD-II port without rewriting the ECM. The module documented under CARB EO D-161-127 covers 2011-2019 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks with the 6.7L. It has six power levels, with Level 3 tuned for towing, plus transmission shift and line-pressure management and a self-check that runs 250 times per second. It requires the maker's own gauge display and takes about three hours to install.
What changes by year
Module gains follow the factory calibration, so they are sold by model year. That EO-numbered module is rated up to 72 hp and 148 lb-ft on 2011-2014, up to 61 hp and 120 lb-ft on 2015-2016, and up to 59 hp and 106 lb-ft on 2017-2019. The F-350 through F-550 chassis cab, rated 300 hp from the factory, is a different calibration again. A setting for one year range doesn't carry over to another.
Heat and software
That module protects the engine with thermal limits. It adds no power below 120 F coolant, starts tapering at 230 F and is fully off at 240 F. If added power drops out when the truck is hot, the cooling system needs attention. Ford also issued PCM campaigns on these years, including 15V175 for a false over-temperature shutdown, so confirm recall software is current before you plug a module in.
What we carry
In this collection you'll find the Calibrated Power Solutions DSP switch bracket, a no-drill mount listed for 2011-2022 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. It gives a selector switch a fixed home without drilling. It is mounting hardware, not a power product, and it doesn't change compliance one way or the other. See the full tuners category for more.
Fitment notes
Match any module to your model year and body: pickup or chassis cab, and 2015-2016 rather than 2011-2014 or 2017-2019. In EO states, request the CARB EO decal from the manufacturer for inspection. Verify by VIN or call the shop.
Frequently asked questions
Is an in-line module legal on a 2015-2016 F-350?
It is when the module carries a CARB Executive Order covering your truck. The module documented for these years carries EO D-161-127 and covers 2011-2019 6.7L F-250 through F-550 trucks. In EO states, request the decal from the manufacturer for inspection.
Why would a module stop adding power when the truck is hot?
The EO-numbered module for these trucks has thermal protection built in. It adds nothing below 120 F coolant, tapers from 230 F and shuts off at 240 F. If it cuts out during normal driving, look for a cooling-system fault.
Will a module set up for a 2013 F-250 give the same gains on my 2016?
No. Gains are year-specific because the factory calibration differs. The EO-numbered module is rated up to 72 hp and 148 lb-ft on 2011-2014 but up to 61 hp and 120 lb-ft on 2015-2016.
Does the DSP switch bracket add power?
No. It is a no-drill mounting bracket for a selector switch, listed for 2011-2022 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. It works alongside your tuning setup but adds nothing by itself.
