The 6.7L uses Bosch high-pressure common rail injection. Two rails, running up to 30,000 psi on 2011-2019 engines, feed eight 19 mm piezo-electric injectors with 8-hole nozzles, and each injector can fire up to five times per combustion cycle. For 2015, Ford fitted new high-pressure injector nozzles alongside the new Garrett GT3788V turbo, and Ford said they gave a more precise spray pattern. With the new turbo and calibration, that refresh lifted the rating to 440 hp and 860 lb-ft. Because of the nozzle change, 2015-2016 injectors are a different part from 2011-2014. What fails and why
On this platform the documented threat to the injectors comes from upstream. When the Bosch CP4.2 pump wears, its roller followers skate on the cam and shed fine metal that passes the metering-valve screen and travels to the injectors, rails, lines, lift pump and tank. That is why the guidance is blunt: after any CP4 contamination event, replace all eight injectors along with the rails and lines. Signs that the pump is the root cause include a sudden stall or no-start, sputtering with lost rail pressure, hard starts after refueling and metal flakes in the fuel filter. If you are replacing injectors without knowing why they failed, cut open the fuel filter first; metallic debris there is the earliest CP4 warning.
New, reman and the hardware around them
You have two routes for the injectors themselves. Remanufactured injectors from Alliant Power and XDP come with the hold-down bolt and injection line, sold by cylinder position. Dynomite Diesel offers brand new and remanufactured injectors as singles or sets, Exergy offers new and remanufactured sets, and S&S Diesel Motorsport injectors are listed too. Seal and hold-down hardware is here as well: Mahle sells an injector O-ring kit and a seal kit, Exergy offers a return port O-ring and an O-ring and copper gasket set of eight, and SPE Motorsport makes an injector hold-down kit. If a CP4 failure put you here, add a contamination kit so the new injectors go into a clean system.

Fitment notes
Order by model year, not just by engine. The 2015 nozzle change means 2015-2016 injectors are not the 2011-2014 part. Some listings cover a wider span, such as the Exergy and S&S injectors listed for 2011-2019, so confirm on the product page that what you order is correct for a 2015-2016 truck. The Alliant and XDP injectors with bolt and line are sold by cylinder position, 1-2-7-8 or 3-4-5-6, so you need the right part for each cylinder. The Mahle kits are listed for 2011-2021 and 2011-2022 and cover your truck. Cab and chassis trucks use the Alliant AP57010 contamination kit. When in doubt, verify by VIN.
Frequently asked questions
Will 2011-2014 injectors fit my 2015 F-250?
Do not use them. Ford fitted revised injector nozzles for 2015, so 2015-2016 injectors are a different part from 2011-2014. Order by model year, not just by 6.7L, and check that the listing covers 2015.
Why are some injectors sold by cylinder number?
The Alliant and XDP remanufactured injectors come with the hold-down bolt and injection line, and they are sold in two versions: one for cylinders 1, 2, 7 and 8, and one for cylinders 3, 4, 5 and 6. On this engine cylinders 1-4 are on the passenger bank and 5-8 on the driver bank. Count how many of each position you are replacing before you order.
Do I need to replace all eight injectors after a CP4 failure?
Yes. After any CP4 contamination event, the guidance is to replace all eight injectors plus the rails and lines, along with the pump, lift pump, filters and tank. Metal from the pump goes everywhere the fuel goes. A contamination kit, with or without a pump, is the simplest way to order it as one job.
