Call or Text (352) 722-5295Aftermarket replacement filters for the 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
Trucks that left the factory airbox behind need the element made for their intake. On the 6.7L Powerstroke, the stock setup is a two-piece Motorcraft FA-1909 pre-filter and FA-1902 element, and the filters here are not those. Ford's factory interval is 45,000 miles or as required, with more frequent checks in dust. Follow your intake maker's guidance for its element, and look at it often if the truck works in dust. Restriction shows up as soot in the airbox or intake housing and MAF-related codes.
Oiled cotton or dry
S&B's KF-1050, the replacement element for its 75-5104 intake, comes in oiled cotton rated at 99.26 percent efficiency or dry media rated at 99.66 percent. With the intake installed, S&B rates airflow at 31.7 percent over stock with oiled cotton and 29.8 percent with dry. Pick oiled for the last bit of flow, dry for the last bit of filtration.
What we carry
S&B has the KF-1050 and KF-1070 replacement filters and the WF-1062 and WF-1031 filter wraps. SPE Motorsport has S100243 cold air intake replacement filters and the S100237 pre-filter sock. No Limit Fabrication has the NLRF cold air intake filter, and Banks Power has a pre-filter wrap made for its Ram-Air filters 42158 and 42188. Shopping for the intake itself? See our intakes.
Fitment notes
Several of these list wide year ranges, some reaching back to the 7.3L, so the years on a listing alone do not prove a fit. Match the element to your intake brand and part number. Many intake parts change for 2017 and newer Super Duty trucks. Verify by VIN, or call us with your intake's part number.
Frequently asked questions
Which replacement filter fits my S&B cold air intake?
For the S&B 75-5104 on a 2011-2016 6.7L, the replacement element is the KF-1050, offered in oiled cotton or dry media. If you run a different S&B intake, match the filter number in your intake's instructions.
Can I put one of these in the factory airbox?
These elements are made for aftermarket intakes. The factory airbox uses a two-piece Motorcraft FA-1909 pre-filter and FA-1902 element, so a truck that still has its stock airbox should use a factory-style set instead.
Do I need a filter wrap?
A wrap or sock goes over the element as a pre-filter to catch larger debris first. It makes the most sense on trucks that work in dust, since Ford calls for more frequent filter checks in dusty use. Buy the wrap made for your filter's part number.
