2011-2014 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke ECM Tuning

ECM tuning hardware for the 2011-2014 Ford F-250 and F-350 with the 6.7L Powerstroke. Ford calls the engine computer the PCM, and it holds more than the power tables: it also stores each injector's IQA code. Anything that writes a new calibration to it has to be matched to your truck's year group and hardware.

ECM tuning on the 2011-2014 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

Ford has already reflashed the 6.7L Power Stroke PCM once. Early 2011 trucks launched at 390 hp and 735 lb-ft and received a free PCM reflash to 400 hp and 800 lb-ft, the rating that ran through 2014. A custom ECM calibration builds on that, but it cannot turn a 2011-2014 truck into a 2015: Ford's 440 hp rating came with a GT37 turbo, new injector nozzles and an updated pump. If injectors are ever replaced, each new IQA code must be programmed into the PCM with a scan tool, and the high-pressure lines are single-use. Any calibration written to a street truck's PCM should keep the emissions controls, including the DPF, SCR/DEF and EGR, doing their jobs.

What we carry

This collection holds the Calibrated Power Solutions DSP switch bracket, a no-drill mount listed for 2011-2022 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. It gives the switch a solid mounting spot without drilling into the truck. The interfaces and switches used to load and select a calibration sit elsewhere in the tuning section, and on the tuners page.

Fitment notes

The bracket is listed for 2011-2022, but calibrations are not that flexible. A 2011-2014 file has to respect the GT32 SST, which overspeeds when tuning pushes it too hard, and the factory torque converter, which a tune that delays lock-up or adds power will overwork. Chassis cab F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks run their own 300 hp calibration. Verify by VIN before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to program the PCM after replacing injectors?

Yes. Every injector on the 6.7L has an IQA code that must be programmed into the PCM with a scan tool, and the high-pressure lines are single-use. If the truck runs a custom calibration, tell whoever maintains it about the new injectors.

What was the free 2011 PCM reflash?

Ford launched the 6.7L at 390 hp and 735 lb-ft, then announced on August 3, 2010 a free PCM reflash that raised 2011 trucks to 400 hp and 800 lb-ft. That rating carried through 2014. Because the reflash came from Ford, it is part of the stock calibration, not an aftermarket tune.
