Call or Text (352) 722-5295Lift kits on the 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke
A 4x4 Powerstroke Super Duty from these years has a coil-spring Dana 60 front monobeam held by radius arms and a track bar. Lift the truck and every one of those parts has to work at the new height. The factory coils carry rate codes from roughly 4,000 to 6,000 lb depending on the build, so tell us how your truck is equipped when you ask about springs. Lift systems for this generation are commonly offered around 4 to 4.5 inches, and the well-worn package pairs the height with matched shocks and a high-mount steering stabilizer. Caster needs attention on this front end too. On leveled trucks, caster correction plus a track bar or stabilizer is the fix for wobble, and the same parts deserve a look after a lift.
Radius arm, 4-link or coil-over
BDS builds two front-end styles for these trucks. Radius-arm kits keep the factory layout, with the axle located by one arm per side. 4-link kits replace each radius arm with an upper and a lower link. BDS sells complete 4-link lift kits in 4, 6 and 8-inch heights, radius-arm kits in 4 and 6 inches, and a 4-link conversion upgrade that fits 4 to 6-inch lifts if you want to switch later. On top of either, the FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion upgrade comes in 2.5, 4, 6 and 8-inch versions, and BDS also packages its 4 and 6-inch radius-arm kits with the FOX coil-over conversion included.
What we carry
BDS Suspension builds the kits here: 4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch lift kits for 2008-2010 6.4L 4WD trucks in radius-arm and 4-link versions, radius-arm kits with the FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion, standalone FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion upgrades and the 4-link conversion upgrade. The SPE Motorsport fixed caster kit rounds it out for owners who need to dial front caster back in.
Fitment notes
The complete BDS kits here are listed for 2008-2010 6.4L 4WD trucks only, while the coil-over and 4-link conversion upgrades list 2005-2016 fitment. These kits are not listed for 2WD trucks. Many F-250 and F-350 kits do not fit the wide-track front end on F-450 and F-550 trucks, so check before ordering for an F-450 pickup. Verify by VIN or use the fitment checker, and call us before you order if your truck has already been modified.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pick a radius-arm or 4-link lift for my 2008-2010 F-250?
Pick by how you use the truck and how far you plan to take it. Radius-arm kits keep one arm per side like the factory setup; 4-link kits replace each arm with an upper and a lower link. Starting with a radius-arm kit doesn't lock you in, because BDS sells a 4-link conversion upgrade for 4 to 6-inch lifts. Call us and we'll talk through how you drive.
Can I add the FOX coil-over conversion after the lift is installed?
BDS lists the FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion as a separate upgrade in 2.5, 4, 6 and 8-inch versions, so match it to the lift height you run. BDS also sells radius-arm kits with the conversion already included if you'd rather do it all at once. Confirm it works with your kit before ordering.
Will these lift kits fit a 2011 F-250 with the 6.7L?
The complete kits are listed for 2008-2010 trucks only. 2011 brought the third-generation Super Duty, so look for kits listed for your year. The FOX conversions and the 4-link upgrade list 2005-2016 fitment and may carry over.
