2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke Headlights

Headlight assemblies for 2008-2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks powered by the 6.4L Powerstroke. Before you pick a style, know that 2008, 2009 and 2010 share one headlight fitment range, and nothing from the 2005-2007 or 2011-2016 Super Duty crosses over. Get the year range right and the rest of the decision is finish and beam style.

Headlights on the 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke

The 2008 Super Duty arrived with a restyled front end, the same model year the 6.4L Powerstroke took over from the 6.0L. Ford kept that front end through 2010, then replaced the whole truck with the third-generation Super Duty for 2011. Your headlights are built around that 2008-2010 nose. Ford dressed the Harley-Davidson edition in blacked-out headlights. On the XL, XLT, FX4, Lariat, King Ranch and Cabela's trucks, stock-style replacement assemblies come matched to either a chrome or a black housing, which is why year and trim both matter when you're putting back a factory-style light.

Picking a series

Every assembly here is an AlphaRex projector headlight, so the decision comes down to two questions. First, which series: Pro, Nova or Luxx. The Nova-Series and Luxx-Series listings are LED projector headlights, and the Pro-Series is listed as a projector headlight. Second, which housing: Black or Alpha-Black. Each series is offered in both, so choose the light first and then the finish that suits your grille and trim.

Stock-style vs. projector upgrade

If the goal is a truck that looks exactly as it left the factory, an OEM-style assembly matched to your original housing is the stock answer. If you're replacing a light anyway and want a different front end, a projector assembly gets you there in the same job. Think about whether you're doing one side or both. A projector on one side and a factory-style light on the other gives the truck two different faces.

Fitment notes

These lights are listed for the 2008-2010 Super Duty only. F-450 and F-550 chassis cab owners should confirm fitment on the product page before ordering. If anything about your truck is unusual, have your VIN ready and call us. Fitment help by phone is free.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 2008 headlight fit my 2010 F-250?

Yes. 2008, 2009 and 2010 assemblies are one fitment range, so a light listed for the 2008-2010 Super Duty covers all three years. The breaks come at 2007 and 2011, not inside this range.

Do I have to match my trim level?

For a stock-style part, yes. OEM-style assemblies are matched to chrome or black housings, so your year and trim decide the right one. For an AlphaRex projector upgrade, the housing finish is your call between Black and Alpha-Black.

What's the difference between the Pro, Nova and Luxx series?

By their listings, the Nova-Series and Luxx-Series are LED projector headlights and the Pro-Series is a projector headlight. All three come in Black and Alpha-Black. Read the product pages side by side for the details of each, or call the shop and we'll go through them with you.
