By ordering the Fleece Performance Engineering FPE-PF-FMC-1116-SB PowerFlo® Lift Pump and Fuel System Upgrade kit (2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke w/ Short Bed) you will earn 1100 DIESEL DOLLARS in your SDS Fuel Tank!
Fleece's FPE-PF-FMC-1116-SB kit installs a PowerFlo dual gerotor lift pump in the tank of 2011-2016 short-bed Ford Super Duty pickups with the 6.7L Power Stroke, and swaps the frame-mounted factory pump and filter for a new Donaldson filter base. It's a drop-in fix for a failing stock lift pump and an upgrade for more fuel supply.
Fitment
Made for short-bed 2011-2016 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups with the 6.7L Power Stroke. Bed length decides which PowerFlo kit you need. According to Fleece's cross-reference, this SB kit replaces Ford BC3Z 9275-A and fuel sender BC3Z-9A299-A, while long-bed trucks, which carry BC3Z 9275-B and sender BC3Z-9A299-G, take FPE-PF-FMC-1116-LB. Running an aftermarket tank? Fleece has confirmed fitment in Titan and S&B tanks. The listing covers 2011-2016 trucks only. F-450 pickups and chassis cabs aren't called out, so call the shop on those, and verify fitment by VIN.
Why this part
Every 2011-2016 6.7L feeds a Bosch CP4.2 high-pressure pump, and that pump is lubricated by the fuel passing through it. Give it aerated or low-lubricity fuel and it can wear and send metal into the rails, injectors and return. Long cranking, power loss, P0087 low rail pressure and metal in the fuel filter are what that looks like, and there's no safe mileage. One failure contaminates the pump, both rails, all eight injectors and every high-pressure line. Running the tank low or out of fuel speeds up that wear.
From the factory, the low-pressure pump is mounted inside the fuel conditioning module on the frame. The PowerFlo takes the place of the in-tank sending unit instead, using two ultra-quiet gerotor pumps for more flow capacity. Fleece rates it at 65-70 psi at idle and says it will support up to 800 HP, so it has room for a build. The active fill bucket does away with tank sumps, draw straws and extra air filtration, and it avoids the ¼ tank problems many higher flow pumps run into. Shop our other lift pumps if you're comparing options.

Installation notes
Fleece built this as a plug-and-play swap. The pump drops into the tank where the factory sending unit was and reuses the factory fuel lines and water-in-fuel sensor, and Fleece says it goes in in less than half the time of other high flow lift pumps. The frame mounted Donaldson filter base mounts in the OE filter housing location. Nothing on the fuel lines, wiring harness or tank gets cut, spliced or modified, and all factory diagnostic functionality keeps working. If you plan to plumb custom lines later, the outlet and return accept a -8 O-ring fitting (3/4"-16 thread). To finish the fuel system, Fleece suggests pairing it with its FPE-FMC-UHFA-1123 under hood filter base and the optional FPE-FH-FMC fuel heater, which the new filter base has a provision for.
