The BD Diesel 5R110 Transmission & Converter Package ensures that the transmission in your 2008-2010 Ford6.4L Powerstroke is up to the task to handle the updated torque levels produced by the performance parts on your engine. A factory transmission can not handle the increased torque levels created by aftermarket parts and will eventually fail. To accommodate the increased torque, the BD Diesel Transmission & Converter Package includes a heavy-duty clutch with up to 25% more material than stock and a new design valve body that maintains up to 80% higher clutch apply pressures over the stock unit.

Each BD Diesel Transmission & Converter Package has a BD rigid aluminum heavy duty transmission pan which adds oil capacity and decreases case flex, a double lock-up converter with X-Stator technology, and a BD auxiliary full flow filter kit for increased protection.

Warranty Note:

A new BD Diesel Torque Converter must be installed at the time of installation of a BD-Power Transmission. Use of a 3rd party or OE Torque Converter will void transmission warranty.
