SDS carries the BD Diesel 1041210 Billet Flex Plate that is massive upgrade over the stock flex plate in your 47RH/47RE/48RE equipped truck. A modified diesel engine's power and torque might crack or even destroy the factory flex plate. This flex plate has been tested to handle over 2000 Ib-ft of torque, or up to 3500 lb-ft with the addition of the BD Slip Eliminator shim kit. This flex plate is manufactured from forged billet steel, precision-balanced, and SFI approved for use in race applications, with double the material of the factory flex plate. This unit fits any stock and most aftermarket torque converter and are economical enough to replace with a converter or transmission swap. Black oxide coated to resist corrosion and avoid hydrogen embrittlement, which can cause cracking. This flex plate replaces the factory unit with a direct bolt-on replacement. Great for competition, towing, or daily driving!
