SDS has BD Diesel 1030418 Transmission Valve Body that will enhance the performance and clutch life of the 47RE transmission in your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. This valve body feature of new valve designs with revised oil circuits and increased capacity springs for firmer shifting. An optimized governor piston dimensions improves oil flow while reducing fluid temperatures and lowering torque converter withdrawal time for faster clutch apply.

BD's redesigned valve body attains up to 80% more clutch apply pressures over the factory unit and up to 50% over the competitors with the increase beginning at much lower engine RPMs and at lighter throttle movement. At these greater application pressures, the light throttle shift firmness is also maintained. Before being shipped, each valve body is checked to assure correct operation.
