2014-2017 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel Lug Nuts

Lug nuts and wheel locks for the 2014-2017 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel. Mishimoto's kits come in black or silver with locks included. What matters most when you shop: this truck uses an M14 x 1.5 thread on a 60-degree conical seat, and the factory torque spec is 130 lb-ft. Get the thread and seat right and the rest is finish and style.

Lug nuts on the 2014-2017 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

From the factory, your EcoDiesel's wheels are held on by bulge-style, open-end lug nuts with an M14-1.50 thread and a 60-degree conical seat, five per wheel on a 5 x 139.7 mm bolt pattern. That hardware is shared with every 2009-2018 Ram 1500 and the Ram 1500 Classic, so the engine under the hood makes no difference here. The number to remember is torque: 130 lb-ft for the factory nuts.

Stock replacement vs. upgrade

Replacing factory nuts with the same style keeps everything as Ram built it. An aftermarket kit makes sense when you want a different finish, want wheel locks on the truck, or are moving to aftermarket wheels. Two cautions apply. First, the seat on the nut has to match the seat on the wheel, and the factory seat is 60-degree conical. Second, aftermarket nuts can carry their own torque spec; flanged aftermarket nuts often call for 140 lb-ft instead of 130. Follow the instructions that come with the nuts you install.

What we carry

Mishimoto M14 x 1.5 lug nut kits with wheel locks, listed for 2014-2018 3.0L EcoDiesel trucks. The MMLG-M14-20LBK is the black finish and the MMLG-M14-20LSL is silver. Each kit is a 20-pack with locks in the set, which covers all five studs on each of four wheels.

Fitment notes

These kits are for the 5-lug Ram 1500. The Ram 2500 and 3500 use an 8-lug wheel pattern and are not covered here. The 2019 and later DT-body Ram 1500 switched to 6 lugs, so newer trucks need their own fitment check. Use the fitment checker on the product page or call us with your VIN.

Frequently asked questions

What size lug nuts does a 2014-2017 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel use?

M14 x 1.5 thread with a 60-degree conical seat. The factory nuts are a bulge-style, open-end design, five per wheel on the 5 x 139.7 mm pattern.

What torque should I use on my lug nuts?

Factory spec is 130 lb-ft. Some aftermarket nuts, especially flanged designs, specify 140 lb-ft instead, so go by the instructions packed with the nuts you install rather than a number you remember from another truck.

Do I need different lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

Possibly. Aftermarket wheels for this truck use the same 5 x 139.7 pattern and M14 x 1.5 nuts, but the nut's seat has to match the wheel's seat. If your new wheels call for the same 60-degree conical seat the factory used, a conical-seat M14 x 1.5 nut is the match; if they call for something else, follow the wheel maker's spec.
