2010-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins Gooseneck Hitches

Gooseneck hitches for the 2010-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins, all from B&W's Turnoverball line. One question decides which one you need: does your bed have Ram's factory gooseneck prep? That option came with the 2013 frame and wasn't standard, and 2010-2012 trucks need an underbed kit instead.

Gooseneck towing on the 2010-2018 RAM 6.7L Cummins

Gooseneck prep became part of the 6.7L Cummins Ram HD story in 2013, when the trucks moved to a new frame with hydroformed main rails and fully boxed rear rails. Fifth-wheel/gooseneck provisions built into the frame were an available option from then on, with puck locations in the bed. The 3500's fifth-wheel and gooseneck ratings reached 30,000 lb for 2013-2015 and 31,210 lb for 2016-2018, but those numbers apply to dual-rear-wheel High Output trucks with the Aisin six-speed. A 2500 or a single-rear-wheel 3500 is rated lower, so tow by your own truck's numbers.

Factory prep vs. underbed install

On a 2013-2018 truck with the prep option, the gooseneck goes into the factory in-bed location. On a 2010-2012 truck, or a later one without the option, the bed needs an underbed rail or gooseneck kit before anything mounts. Bed length matters too. The 6 ft 4 in and 8 ft beds put the hitch location in different spots, so confirm which bed you have before you order. Every Mega Cab in this generation has the 6 ft 4 in bed; Crew Cabs came with either length, and Regular Cabs with the 8 ft bed.

What we carry

This collection is the B&W Trailer Hitches Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, in part numbers GNRK1308, GNRK1313, GNRK1314 and GNRK1384. B&W uses different part numbers for different applications, so let the fitment checker on each product page match the part number to your year, bed length and whether your truck has the factory prep. For fifth wheels and bumper-pull setups, see our hitches page.

Fitment notes

Check four things: model year (factory prep only on 2013-2018), whether your truck has the prep option, bed length (6 ft 4 in or 8 ft), and whether it's a pickup or a chassis cab. Chassis cabs use different frames and need their own fitment check. Verify by VIN before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Does every 2013-2018 Ram have factory gooseneck prep?

No. It was an available option, not standard. Look in the bed for the factory puck locations, or call us with your VIN and we'll help you sort it out.

Can my 2012 Ram 3500 take a gooseneck?

Yes, but not through factory prep, because that came with the 2013 trucks. A 2010-2012 bed needs an underbed rail or gooseneck kit first. Tell us your bed length and cab when you call so we match the right setup.

Can I tow 30,000 lb with a gooseneck on my Ram 2500?

No. The 30,000 lb (2013-2015) and 31,210 lb (2016-2018) ratings belong to dual-rear-wheel 3500s with the High Output engine. A 2500 is rated below that, and its payload ran 1,466 to 3,497 lb in 2018 depending on configuration. Use the ratings for your exact truck.
