2010-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins Exhaust Accessories

Exhaust accessories for the 2010-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins: tips, clamps, heat wrap, gaskets and sensors. Most of what lives here either finishes a DPF-back system or reseals a joint you opened during service. Measure before you buy a tip. The factory tailpipe is 4 inches, and some upgrade systems go to 5 inches.

Exhaust accessories for the 2010-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins

On a DPF-back system, the accessory items are the tips, clamps and hangers at the back end. On 2013-2018 trucks a DPF-back section slips over the pipe coming out of the SCR catalyst, so that joint and its clamp matter. Further forward, this page holds the gaskets and sensors that keep the 6.7L Cummins exhaust and its emissions equipment sealed and reading correctly. On 2010-2012 pickups that equipment is cooled EGR, a DOC, a NOx adsorber and a DPF. On 2013-2018 pickups it is cooled EGR, a DOC, a DPF and SCR with DEF.

When these parts come into play

Tips and clamps are about fit and finish. Gaskets come into play any time a joint gets opened. Owners of 2013-2018 trucks report EGR valve problems along with DEF faults, and EGR work means fresh gaskets for the tube, cooler and bypass valve so the factory system seals the way it should. Sensors are year-specific replacements, so the one you buy has to match the one that came on your truck. The exhaust brake is already built in: the 6.7L brakes by closing its turbo vanes, which helps a lot when towing but has limits behind a large trailer.

Stock replacement vs. upgrade

Gaskets and sensors should match the factory part, and there is nothing to gain by improvising there. Tips are where you get to choose. The MBRP line here covers rolled and single wall, dual wall, straight cut, angle cut, turndown and black hex styles, with outlets from 4 to 8 inches. Mishimoto's heat wrap set is here if your build calls for wrapped pipe.

What we carry

  • MBRP: exhaust tips with a 4-inch inlet and 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 inch outlets.
  • PPE 3-inch and 4-inch stainless exhaust tips, and Mishimoto heat wrap and a 6-inch polished angled tip.
  • Mahle: catalytic converter gaskets, an exhaust pipe flange gasket, a crankcase breather gasket, EGR cooler, tube, inlet pipe and bypass valve gaskets, an EGR gasket kit and cylinder head gasket sets.
  • A Dorman EGR gasket kit, a Cummins genuine upper engine gasket kit and an ATS Diesel Performance exhaust manifold gasket set.
  • XDP oxygen and exhaust backpressure sensors.
  • BD Diesel: a V-band exhaust clamp and a remote-mount exhaust brake.

Fitment notes

Tips are sized by inlet. The MBRP tips here take a 4-inch inlet, which matches the factory tailpipe and 4-inch systems; a 5-inch system needs a 5-inch inlet tip. Gaskets and sensors follow the 2013 emissions change. Mahle's F32954 catalytic converter gasket is listed for 2013-2018, the F32902 for 2007.5-2018, and the F32901 flange gasket only for 2007.5-2010. The G33292 EGR cooler gasket is listed for 2010-2012. The XDP oxygen sensor is a 2007.5-2012 part, and the backpressure sensor covers 2007.5-2018. Check the BD exhaust brake listing for its application, since your truck already has a turbo-based exhaust brake. Verify by VIN.

Frequently asked questions

Which exhaust tip fits my Ram 2500?

A tip is sized by its inlet. The MBRP tips on this page have a 4-inch inlet, which suits the factory 4-inch tailpipe or a 4-inch system, and the outlet size and cut are your call. If you run a 5-inch system, shop for a tip with a 5-inch inlet.

Why are EGR gaskets listed with exhaust accessories?

The EGR system routes exhaust, so its joints are exhaust joints. Owners of 2013-2018 trucks report EGR valve problems, and any service on the factory EGR system needs fresh gaskets for the tube, cooler and bypass valve. Match each gasket to your model year.

Do I need an add-on exhaust brake?

Your 6.7L already has one. The turbo brakes by closing its vanes, and it is a big improvement over the wheel brakes alone, though it has limits with large trailers. If you look at BD Diesel's remote-mount exhaust brake, confirm its listed application against your truck before you order.
