The ECM on the 2007.5-2009 RAM 6.7L Cummins

When the 6.7L Cummins replaced the 5.9L in mid-2007, it brought the first Cummins pickup VGT turbo, the Holset HE351VE, along with a diesel oxidation catalyst, a NOx adsorber and a diesel particulate filter. The ECM moves the turbo's sliding nozzle, meters EGR, and triggers DPF regeneration with post-injection. The factory revised this software more than once. Chrysler and Cummins released several reflashes for DPF loading on 2007.5-2012 trucks, and a current factory calibration is worth checking on any truck with regen complaints before anything else changes.
