Your truck is a third-generation Ram, sold and badged as a Dodge Ram. RAM became its own brand in 2010, which is why the catalog files it under RAM. Lighting on this generation turns on the 2006 model year, when the lineup got a modernized front fascia and the headlamp and grille assemblies changed from the 2003-2005 design. That splits the 5.9L Cummins years down the middle: 2004.5 and 2005 trucks wear the early front end, and 2006 and 2007 trucks wear the refreshed one. Out back, check the body. Dually fender lamps and cab-chassis rear lamps are different from the tail lights on a single-rear-wheel pickup.
What goes wrong
The notable owner-reported lighting problem on these trucks is electrical, not the lamp itself. Complaints filed on 2006 Ram 2500 trucks describe headlights switching on and off by themselves, dim headlights, turn signals flashing the wrong direction and trailer lights dropping out. Those reports were tied to TIPM faults rather than to the lamps. If a 2006 or 2007 truck has headlights cycling, check the TIPM and power distribution before you replace lamps. A new housing will not fix a power problem.
Stock replacement vs. upgrade
This collection does not carry factory-style lamps. Everything here is an upgraded replacement: a complete assembly with a different look than stock, with LED lighting on the Luxx-Series and Nova-Series lines. If you want the truck to look the way it left the factory, these are not that. If a lamp is damaged and you would rather upgrade, or you want a different finish front and rear, they are. Upgraded headlamp assemblies are sold by front-end style, 2003-2005 or 2006-2008, so the year check comes before the finish.

Fitment notes
- Headlights: 2004.5-2005 trucks take the 2003-2005 housing. 2006-2007 trucks take the 2006-2008 housing.
- Tail lights: confirm single-rear-wheel pickup, dually or cab-chassis. The rear lamps differ.
- 2007 trucks: trucks built after January 1, 2007 have the 6.7L Cummins. If yours does, shop the 6.7L pages.
- Power Wagon: the 2005 and later Power Wagon is a 5.7L Hemi truck, not a Cummins, so it is not covered here.

Frequently asked questions
Do 2005 and 2006 Ram headlights interchange?
No. The 2006 refresh brought a new front fascia, and the headlamp and grille assemblies changed with it. A 2004.5 or 2005 truck takes the 2003-2005 style, and a 2006 or 2007 truck takes the 2006-2008 style. Confirm your year before ordering.
Why do my turn signals flash the wrong way?
On 2006 Ram 2500 trucks, owners reported turn signals misbehaving along with headlights cutting in and out, and those complaints were tied to TIPM faults. Check the TIPM and power distribution before you buy new lamps. If the lamps themselves are fine, new ones will not cure it.
Will these tail lights fit my dually?
Check the listing before you order. Dually fender lamps and cab-chassis rear lamps are different parts from the tail lights on a single-rear-wheel pickup, so match the product fitment to your exact body.
What is the difference between the AlphaRex Pro, Luxx and Nova headlights?
In our catalog the Pro-Series is listed as a projector headlight, while the Luxx-Series and Nova-Series are listed as LED projector headlights. Past that, the choice is finish: Black, Alpha-Black and Chrome across the lines, plus Gloss Black in the Nova-Series. Each product page has the details.
