2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Interior Parts

This page covers interior parts for 2017-2019 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Powerstroke. The cab on these trucks carries over through 2022, so most interior parts cross those years, but electronics and screens changed by trim and year. Match the part to your exact trim before you order.

Interior on the 2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

2017 was the first all-new Super Duty since 1999. Ford gave it an aluminum-alloy cab that shares its structure with the F-150, offered as a Regular Cab, SuperCab or Crew Cab in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum trims, with Limited added for 2018. The Crew Cab is roomy: 43.9 inches of front legroom, 43.6 inches in the rear and 131.8 cubic feet of passenger volume. SuperCab rear legroom is 33.5 inches. Work trucks could be ordered with six overhead upfitter switches, a 110V/400W inverter outlet and engine idle shutdown timers, so a fleet XL and a loaded Platinum can look very different inside even though they share a cab.

What fails and why

Straight answer: the research behind this page does not document a mechanical failure pattern for the 2017-2019 Super Duty interior. The most-reported complaint on this generation is steering-wheel oscillation on 4x4 trucks, and that is a suspension problem, not a cab problem. So interior parts here fall into two groups. Repair pieces replace one specific damaged part, like the connector at a seat module, so you are not buying a whole assembly for one broken plug. Add-ons put gauges, switches or controls where you can reach them. Knowing which group your job falls in tells you where to look.

Stock replacement vs. upgrade

For a repair, the goal is to fix the one thing that broke. A connector pigtail is a short section of harness with a new plug on the end. You splice it in where the damaged connector was instead of replacing the whole harness or the seat module. Upgrades inside the cab are usually about monitoring and controls. If no vehicle-specific gauge pod is listed for your truck, gauges and monitors mount with a universal 52 mm pod or a suction or surface mount. Work-truck trims may already have the six overhead upfitter switches from the factory, so look before you run new wiring for accessories.

What we carry

This collection carries the Fleece Performance Engineering FPE-HAR-HSM-PT heated seat module connector pigtail. Fleece lists it for 2003-2019 6.0L, 6.4L and 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, so it covers your 2017-2019 Super Duty. If the plug at your heated seat module is cracked, has broken locking tabs or has pins that no longer hold, the pigtail gives you a fresh connector without a new harness or module. Solder or crimp it in, seal the splices, and the seat is back in service. Check the product grid for what is in stock today.

Fitment notes

The cab and interior structure carry over from 2017 through 2022, so interior parts generally fit that whole run. Electronics and screens changed with trim and model year, so a part that fits a Lariat may not match an XL. Front seating came as a 40/20/40 bench or buckets depending on the truck, and not every seat is heated, so confirm yours is before you order a heated seat connector. When in doubt, verify by VIN or call the shop. Looking for engine parts instead? Start at the Powerstroke hub.

Frequently asked questions

Do 2020-2022 Super Duty interior parts fit my 2017-2019 truck?

Usually, for the cab itself. The 2020 refresh kept the same cab and frame and changed the grille, headlamps, tailgate and powertrain. Electronics and screens are the exception, since those changed with trim and year, so match the part number to your exact truck.

Does the Fleece heated seat pigtail fit my 2017-2019 F-250?

Fleece lists the FPE-HAR-HSM-PT for 2003-2019 6.0L, 6.4L and 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, which takes in 2017-2019 F-250, F-350 and F-450 pickups. Confirm your seat is heated and compare the plug on your module to the product photos before you cut anything.

Are there known interior problems on the 2017-2019 Super Duty?

The research behind this page does not show a mechanical interior failure pattern on this generation. The most-reported problem is front-end steering oscillation on 4x4 trucks, which Ford addressed with Customer Satisfaction Program 20N04 and a redesigned steering linkage damper. That is a suspension repair, so look under Suspension for your truck.

Where do I mount a gauge or monitor in this cab?

If a vehicle-specific pod is not listed for your truck, use a universal 52 mm gauge pod or a suction or surface mount. Keep it clear of airbag deployment areas and out of your line of sight through the windshield. If your truck has the factory upfitter switches, use them to power accessories instead of tapping into random circuits.
