2015-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Interior Parts

Interior parts for the 2015-2016 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty with the 6.7L Powerstroke, including electrical repair parts like the Fleece heated seat module connector pigtail. The thing to know about interior parts for these years: most fit 2011-2016 trucks, not the redesigned 2017-and-newer Super Duty, and many split by cab style and seat layout.

Interior on the 2015-2016 Ford Super Duty with the 6.7L Powerstroke

These trucks are the last of the steel-cab Super Dutys. The basic cab structure dates to 1999, with a dash refresh for 2011, and it carried through 2016 before Ford moved to an aluminum cab shared with the F-150 for 2017. You'll find Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab bodies, with a 40/20/40 split bench or 40/mini-console/40 buckets up front, a 60/40 flip-up rear seat, and lockable under-seat storage in the Crew Cab. From 2013, upper trims could be ordered with SYNC and MyFord Touch, an 8-inch touchscreen, a rear camera and HD Radio. For 2015 Ford redesigned the King Ranch with Mesa Brown leather, woodgrain accents, heated and cooled front seats, Sony audio and a heated steering wheel, and added Platinum as the new top trim above XL, XLT and Lariat. Under the hood, the 6.7L Powerstroke got its 440 hp, 860 lb-ft update the same year.

What fails and why

The documented interior problems for these years are recall items, not wear parts. Recall 22V337 covers the steering-wheel clockspring: dust can break its electrical connection, so the driver airbag may not deploy. Watch for an airbag warning light or faulty horn and steering-wheel controls; the 2016 F-250 is listed. Recall 25V572 covers the rearview camera on 2015-2019 F-250, F-350 and F-450 trucks, which can show a distorted, inverted or blank picture in reverse. Run your VIN through a recall lookup and take any open campaign to a Ford dealer. Electrical connectors for heated seats and other accessories are a separate repair: when a connector is damaged, a replacement pigtail lets you fix the circuit without replacing a whole harness.

Stock replacement vs. upgrade

Interior work on these trucks is mostly about keeping factory features working. If your truck came without a backup camera, Ford's Rear View Camera and Prep Kit, with a loose camera, wiring bundle and auto-dimming mirror, was the factory-style add-on. On infotainment, know which system you have before buying anything. MyFord Touch trucks and base SYNC trucks use different hardware, and MyFord Touch is not compatible with SYNC AppLink.

What we carry

This collection holds the Fleece Performance Engineering FPE-HAR-HSM-PT heated seat module connector pigtail. It's a replacement connector with leads for the heated seat module circuit, listed for 2003-2019 trucks with the 6.0L, 6.4L or 6.7L Powerstroke, which covers your 2015-2016. It applies to trucks with heated seats, such as the 2015-2016 King Ranch with its heated and cooled front seats.

Fitment notes

Most interior parts for these years fit 2011-2016 trucks, not the 2017-and-newer aluminum-cab Super Duty. The Fleece pigtail is an exception: its listing runs from 2003 through 2019. Many interior parts also split by cab, Regular, SuperCab or Crew Cab, and by front seat layout, 40/20/40 bench versus buckets. Before ordering seat electrical parts, confirm your truck has heated seats and compare the connector with the one on your seat module. When in doubt, call with your VIN.

Frequently asked questions

Do 2017 Super Duty interior parts fit my 2015 F-350?

Generally no. Ford kept the same basic cab from 1999 through 2016 and moved to an all-new aluminum cab shared with the F-150 for 2017, so most interior parts split at that line. Shop 2011-2016 parts for a 2015-2016 truck.

Does the Fleece pigtail fit trucks with other Powerstroke engines?

Its listing covers 2003-2019 trucks with the 6.0L, 6.4L or 6.7L Powerstroke, so it spans three diesel generations. Compare the connector on your seat module with the product photos before you cut anything, and call us if you're unsure.

Is my rear camera problem covered by a recall?

It may be. Recall 25V572 covers 2015-2019 F-250, F-350 and F-450 trucks whose rearview camera can show a distorted, inverted or blank image in reverse. Check your VIN for open recalls and take the truck to a Ford dealer if it's listed.

Why won't SYNC AppLink work on my Super Duty?

If your truck has MyFord Touch, that's expected: MyFord Touch isn't compatible with SYNC AppLink. Base SYNC and MyFord Touch trucks also use different infotainment hardware, so confirm which one you have before buying parts.
