The parts on this page keep the 6.7L Powerstroke exhaust sealed, monitored and finished. These trucks run a full aftertreatment stack: a two-stage cooled EGR system, a DOC, a silicon-carbide DPF and an SCR catalyst dosed with DEF. Sensors read exhaust temperature, back pressure and NOx along the way, and the 2015 update added a new exhaust temperature sensor. On the appearance side, a chrome exhaust tip came with Ford's chrome appearance packages, such as the XLT Chrome and King Ranch Chrome Packages. It was not a standard feature on every Lariat or higher trim.
Before you replace a sensor
Aftertreatment warnings on this engine do not always start in the exhaust. A failed boost tube makes the 6.7L run rich and can plug the DPF with soot in as little as 5 to 10 miles, which brings on DPF-full messages and limp mode. A truck that never finishes its active regens will also show frequent regen messages and reduced power from soot load alone. Rule those out before you replace an exhaust back pressure or DPF pressure sensor. When a sensor really is the problem, OEM-style replacement EGT and NOx sensors are the correct repair parts for 2011-2016 trucks.
Stock replacement vs. upgrade
Sensors, gaskets and clamps are stock-replacement parts: match the factory part and the year range, and you are done. Tips are where you get to choose. You can pick the diameter, single or dual wall, rolled or straight edge, angle cut or turndown, and polished stainless or black. If you are keeping the factory system, MBRP's T5111 tip cover set is made for the stock 5-in tip. If you are running a filter-back system, choose a tip whose inlet matches your tailpipe; most of the tips here have a 4-in inlet.

Fitment notes
Read the year range in each title, because these parts do not all span the same years. Alliant's AP63526, AP63537 and AP63603 are listed for 2011-2016, while AP63529 runs 2011-2019. SPE's S100218 adapter is listed for 2015-and-later trucks, and XDP's XD1033 covers the 2011-2016 6.7L. One BD Diesel item, the 1030900 manual transmission lever switch, is listed for 1989-2007 trucks; every 2015-2016 6.7L pickup came with the 6R140 six-speed automatic, so that switch is not a part for this truck. When in doubt, verify by VIN.
Frequently asked questions
Which EGT sensor adapter fits a 2015 or 2016 6.7L?
SPE lists its S100218 adapter specifically for the large EGT sensor used from 2015 on, and its S100219 1/8-in NPT adapter for 2011-2025 trucks. Ford added a new exhaust temperature sensor for 2015, so match the adapter to the sensor in your truck rather than to a 2011-2014 parts guide.
Can a boost leak cause DPF warnings?
Yes. A failed boost tube makes the engine run rich and can plug the DPF with soot within 5 to 10 miles, which shows up as DPF-full warnings and limp mode. Check the boost tubes before you buy a back pressure sensor.
Did my truck come with a chrome exhaust tip?
Only if it was built with one of Ford's chrome appearance packages, such as the XLT Chrome or King Ranch Chrome Package. It was not standard on Lariat and up. If you want a finished look on the stock pipe, MBRP's T5111 cover set is made for the factory 5-in tip; for a bigger change, pick a 4-in inlet tip and pair it with a filter-back system.
