AMP Research makes the PowerStep, a retractable running board that drops when a door opens and tucks up out of the way when it closes. It is one of the most common electric step upgrades on diesel pickups, and it is the only AMP Research line we carry.
What we carry
We stock PowerStep kits for Cummins and Duramax trucks, including late-model 6.6L and 3.0L Duramax.
- PowerStep: the standard board. Powered step with built-in lighting.
- PowerStep Plug-N-Play: same board with a plug-in harness. No tapping factory wires.
- PowerStep XL: drops lower than the standard board. Built for lifted trucks.
- PowerStep Xtreme: the heavy-duty version for snow, ice and mud.
- PowerStep Smart Series: adds app control, so you can hold the steps up for loading, washing or ground clearance.
