Upgrade your modified diesel truck with the XDP Billet Tow & Race Series Flex Plate XD652. If your truck is used for racing, sled pulling, or hot shot towing, it's only a matter of time before your stock flex plate fails. Modifications and motorsports add more strain to the flex plate which can result in heat spots from the torque converter. Constant heat cycles can cause these heat spots to crack and even cause the flexplate to break apart.
This Billet Tow & Race Series Flex Plate is constructed of billet steel forgings for unmatched durability and strength. Engineered and built to withstand 1,500 lbs. ft. of torque, this flexplate is precision-balanced and SFI 29.3 approved for use in high-output diesel trucks.

2011 Model Year Application Note:
Ford F250/F350/F450/F550 trucks built before 7/25/11 came equipped from the factory with an 8-bolt flex plate & torque converter. Ford changed to a 6-bolt setup starting around 7/26/11. If your truck was built approx. 7/25/11 or earlier and has the 8-bolt setup, you will need to replace both the flex plate & torque converter (and switch from 8-bolt to 6-bolt).

These shims or spacers will not be needed for installation of the XDP flex plate as it is thicker than the OEM flex plate.
