The XDP HD Series High Output Alternator gives you a substantial output increase over your factory alternator. Each HD Alternator comes with a wrinkle black finish for enhanced aesthetics and corrosion resistance. The XD357 is pre-tested with a results card included and ready for installation using the factory mounting locations, factory belt, and existing connections.

Note:
Some models are equipped with an 8-rib belt instead of a 6-rib. If your truck is equipped with a 8-rib belt, the pulley from your old alternator will need to be swapped over to complete the installation of the XD357.
This alternator includes a ground lug that is optional to use but will require the end user to make a ground wire and run it from the lug to the battery. If you do not wish to utilize the additional ground lug, simply install the alternator exactly like the factory unit.
