Installation Info:
The MAP Sensor is chassis-mounted, meaning it’s not physically attached to the intake manifold. A signal hose (or sensor hose) connects the intake manifold to the nipple on the sensor. When replacing the MAP Sensor, it’s a good idea to inspect the hose on the intake manifold to ensure it is not cracked or damaged, and replace it if necessary to ensure a complete and thorough repair.
