Mishimoto MMB-RAM-007 Radiator & Transmission Cooler Ultimate Bundle (1998.5-2002 5.9L Cummins)

The Mishimoto MMB-RAM-007 Radiator & Transmission Cooler Ultimate Bundle is a complete kit to replace failure-prone components on your Dodge 5.9 diesel. Mishimoto has bundled together an aluminum radiator, silicone radiator hose kit, low-temperature thermostat, transmission cooler kit, and titanium turbo blanket. As the stand-out component, the replacement radiator features full aluminum construction with durable TIG-welded end tanks. This radiator is a three-row unit with a 2.44-in thick brazed aluminum core. The increased size of the core compared to the stock unit provides greater fluid capacity and superior heat dissipation.

To supplement this radiator upgrade, this kit includes a durable silicone radiator hose kit for the 5.9L. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. For maintaining low fluid temperatures, Mishimoto included a low-temperature thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (174F) compared to the factory thermostat (180F). Coolant temperature reduction isn't the only target of the ultimate bundle, a direct-fit transmission cooler kit is also included. This bolt-on kit provides a 116-percent increase in core volume, a 141-percent increase in fluid capacity, and a 134-percent increase in fin surface area compared to the stock heat exchanger. In addition to these cooling benefits, this kit also eliminates the corrosion-prone factory quick-disconnect fittings. Rounding out the Ultimate Bundle is the Mishimoto Titanium Turbo Blanket. This component protects vital engine bay components from excessive heat produced by the turbocharger.
