The Merchant Automotive 10012 Stainless Steel Tie Rod Sleeves for your 01-10 GM 6.6L Duramax increase strength and rigidity in the tie rods in the front of your truck. Under extreme use tie rods can bend or even break, leaving you stuck. These easy to install sleeves thread onto the inner tie rod making it nearly impossible to break or bend. Made from high quality Stainless steel for long lasting good looks, but more importantly, easy to service. These tie rod sleeves must be loosened to make toe adjustments when performing an alignment and lesser quality sleeves made from cheap steel can rust and be very difficult to move.
